L&T Construction awarded design-build contract for O&G supply bases at KSA’s SPARK – MEP MiddleEast

The buildings and factories business of Larsen & Toubro Construction has secured a significant contract from Saudi-owned Oilfields Supply Company and by the Dubai-based Oilfields Supply Center Ltd to design and build one of the world's largest oil and gas supply bases at Saudi Arabia's King Salman Energy Park in Dammam.

The project involves constructing industrial facilities of different sizes, an administration building, ancillary buildings, associated infrastructure, and storage yards along with civil, structural, MEP, and architectural works. The project is scheduled to be completed in 30 months.

MEP Middle East previously reported that Oilfields Supply Center Limited (OSC) has awarded a contract worth $570mn for the construction of their Saudi Arabia base in the King Salman Energy Park (SPARK).

The OSC base will cover 1km2 and include multiple areas and zones. The centre will be critical to localise the full energy supply chain, enabling investors to supply to the broader region and gain maximum benefit from their presence at SPARK.
