SFD inaugurates water and Diriyah residential complex projects in Djibouti

DJIBOUTI — The Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) CEO Sultan Bin Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, during his visit to the Republic of Djibouti, inaugurated Wednesday two vital projects, with a generous Saudi grant provided by the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the SFD, in the presence of Prime Minister of Djibouti Abdoulkader Kamil Mohamed. The first project includes supplying the governorate of Abukh with drinking water, where the project was funded with a contribution of $10 million. The Prime Minister of Djibouti praised the importance of the great role played by Saudi Arabia through the SFD in supporting development projects and developing the infrastructure sector in the Republic of Djibouti. The CEO of the SFD inaugurated the other project, which includes building housing units for people with limited income, "Diriyah Residential Complex", in the presence of Djibouti Secretary of State for Housing Amina Abdi Aden, and a number of officials from both sides. The project includes 120 housing units, with a total estimated value of $7 million. — SPA
