MEP works at Azizi Developments’ Shaista project 98% complete – MEP MiddleEast

UAE-based private real estate developer Azizi Developments has completed 98% of the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) works, and 99% of the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) works on its Shaista residential development, located in the heart of Dubai's new growth corridor – Al Furjan.

The residential development has now crossed the 97% overall construction milestone, with the structure, blockwork, the internal plaster, tiling, and the façade works 100% complete.

Elevator works within the building are at 90%, while external works are on schedule – currently at 99% – with the swimming pool and overall finishing works having reached 93%.

The building is scheduled for completion by the end of Q1 2021.

Spread across its 12 residential floors, Shaista is home to 284 units comprising 137 studios, 124 one-bedroom units, 15 two-bedroom apartments, eight penthouses, and 7,100sqft of retail space.

Commenting on the progress of construction, the executive director of the Engineering Division at Azizi Developments, Mohamed Ragheb, said: “Despite the pandemic induced-challenges, Shaista, along with several other of our projects, is nearing completion rapidly. This underlines our commitment to timely delivery, all while adhering to our very rigorous quality control measures and pioneering best practices.
