Private sector holiday: UAE announced a 4-day weekend for National Day 2022 – Construction Week Online

The UAE cabinet has officially announced the Commemoration Day and UAE National Day holiday 2022 for the private sector. The break will be from Thursday, 1 December, to Saturday, 3 December.

Since Sunday is a holiday in the UAE, work will resume on Monday, December 5. For those who have a Sunday off, this would work out to a four-day weekend.

“The three-day official paid holiday is in implementation of the UAE Cabinet resolution on public holidays for the public and private sectors for 2021 and 2022,” the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) said.
