Soon, new centre to settle real estate disputes in Abu Dhabi

A real estate disputes resolution centre will soon be set up in Abu Dhabi to reduce the number of cases brought before the courts, said judicial authorities.  

The move comes in accordance with the agreement signed between Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) and the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT). 

The Real Estate Dispute Settlement Centre will comprise qualified real estate conciliators who will work to settle disputes between parties amicably. This in turn will help manage the influx of real estate dispute cases in courts. 

The group of conciliators have undergone specialised courses to carry out their conciliation and reconciliation duties, Abdullah Al Sahi, Acting Undersecretary of the DMT said.
