Dragon City Bahrain celebrates Chinese New Year

Dragon City Bahrain, the Kingdom’s largest retail and wholesale trade centre is once again commemorating the Chinese New Year with a line-up of exciting activities. Mall visitors will be treated to a spectacular celebration until February 5, 2023.

Chinese New Year (also known as Lunar New Year) is one of the most important holidays in Chinese culture that marks the end of the lunar calendar. Each year is named after one of 12 animals of the zodiac and 2023 is Year of the Rabbit, the fourth animal in the zodiac sequence considered the luckiest. Festivities at Dragon City Bahrain guarantee entertainment for the whole family, giving visitors a lasting taste of a special cultural experience.

Among the line-up, visitors can experience a traditional Chinese Tea demonstration, a hypnotic Chinese Calligraphy show, as well as the lively Fan Dance and Dragon Dance presented by skilled performers. Moreover, there are various themed kids’ activities in store, making sure none of the little ones miss out on the fun.
