Dragon City launches ‘For Our Women’ initiative

Derived from its unwavering commitment to proactively partake in charity and social works, Dragon City, the largest wholesale and retail trade centre in Bahrain, has recently reaffirmed its endless support to Bahraini widows and orphans, in partnership with the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), targeting the less-privileged segments of the society.



This was revealed as Dragon City confirmed that it has allocated a special donation to benefit 1,000 women under the care of the foundation. Titled "For Our Women“, the initiative comes under Dragon City's unique "For Our Bahrain“ campaign, which was launched earlier this month in a bid to lighten the impacts caused by the emergence of the Coronavirus (COvid-19) pandemic on Bahrain's economy and society.



Under the "For Our Women“ initiative, special "Care Kits“, which consisted of various home appliances and other essential products, were delivered to widowed women, in coordination with RHF.



On the occasion, Mr. Patrick Zheng Shuo, General Manager of Chinamex, said: "This initiative comes under the umbrella of our exclusive "For Our Bahrain“ campaign, which we launched as part of our commitment towards the society, especially during such challenging times, and to also contribute to spreading cheer and joy, simultaneously with the advent of Eid
