The Court of First Instance in the Wilayat of Samail has issued judicial rulings against a commercial establishment, for violating the Consumer Protection Law and its executive regulations.

The case stemmed from complaints received by the Consumer Protection Authority in the Al Dakhiliyah Governorate from multiple consumers. These complaints alleged that the establishment, operating in the field of detailing and installing doors and windows, failed to fulfill agreed-upon services within the stipulated timeframe. Consequently, the consumers reported the issue to the authorities, initiating an investigation by the public prosecution and subsequent referral to the court.The court ruled in favor of the consumers, and imposed financial fines totaling RO 550, along with criminal expenses.
