Over 600 commercial, professional licenses issued in Oman

Muscat: The number of commercial agency and professional licenses issued during the Q3 of last year 2020 reached 661, up by 113.2 per cent compared to the same period of 2019, according to statistical data of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion.

The Ministry's Statistics Department shows that the total number included 336 renewed commercial agencies, 218 new commercial agencies, 15 modernised or modified commercial agencies, 11 cancelled commercial agencies and 81 professional licenses.

The Ministry pointed out that the investors, companies and SME can apply for commercial agency services through the electronic portal "Invest Easy" or through Sanad offices in order to make the process of registration and their follow up of transactions easy.
