The complainant had sought the establishment’s services to rectify an engine malfunction in his vehicle, agreeing to a repair cost of RO 200.

However, the situation took a tumultuous turn when, after a mere week, the vehicle’s engine malfunctioned during an inspection, prompting another round of repairs. Despite the subsequent efforts, issues persisted, including a transmission oil leak and eventual breakdown, coupled with rising temperature indicators.

Frustrated by the repeated setbacks and inadequate resolutions offered by the repair shop, the consumer escalated the matter to the relevant authorities. Subsequent investigations, including the assessment by a technical expert, corroborated the consumer’s claims, indicating substandard repair work.
