Al Asmakh Mall relaunched with new design and more offerings

Al Asmakh Mall has been relaunched with a new design and more offerings. Located in Al Sadd, Doha, Al Asmakh Mall is a neighbourhood shopping destination for more than half a million families in Qatar, a statement said Wednesday. Al Asmakh Mall is very well connected through Salwa and Al Shamal Road. The nearest Metro Station is Al Joan, only 300m away.

The complete revamp lends an iconic feel to the overall architecture and interior of the mall. The interiors areas are inspired by the desert oasis concept. The ceiling pattern is derived from desert wind causing the sand pattern seen in the floor design and colour used.

Officials at relaunch

The perforated panel design pattern seen on the columns is derived from the local Mashrabiya pattern. The selection of an earthy colour pallet makes the exterior and the interior of the mall look integrated. Speaking about the change, Shumalan Naicker, territory head, Landmark group, said: “It’s an absolute delight seeing this mall transform from its previous structure to the beautiful contemporary look. It’s one of the most preferred shopping destination because of its location, offerings, service and accessibility.”
