Porsche Saudi Arabia reports highest retail sales in five years

Jeddah. Porsche Saudi Arabia, SAMACO Automotive, the exclusive importer of Porsche in the Kingdom has defied a challenging 2020, dominated by the global impact of COVID-19 and a rise in VAT. The organisation recorded a 29 per cent growth in new car deliveries, resulting in the highest retail figures for the importer in the past five years.

Arno Husselmann, General Manager of Porsche Saudi Arabia, says the positive annual performance is a result of several new initiatives and hard work to overcome the significant challenges of 2020: "We defied all odds by increasing our retail performance by almost 30 per cent and reporting our highest order intake in five years. To conclude a tough year on such a positive note is a reflection of the dedication from the entire team and shows the commitment and faith placed in us by our customers.

"Moving forward, 2021 has a lot more to offer not just with a strong selection of new models on the way, but also through an enhanced customer experience. The new Porsche Showroom in Riyadh which is almost completed is just the beginning of a comprehensive expansion plan. Several other projects with a strong focus on providing enhanced After Sales
