Ambassador Al Saati and “BTECH“: Strengthening Russian-Bahraini IT relations

Within the scope of his tour to Bahraini civil society organizations, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Russian Federation, His Excellency Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Saati, met with the Chairman of the Bahrain Technology Companies Society (BTECH) Mr. Ubaidly Ubaidly, and the Society's advisor, Mr. Ahmed Al Hujairy



During the meeting, they reviewed the updates of the ICT industry and its markets, stressing the significance of the achievements of this industry, especially in confronting the repercussions of COVID-19, as the algorithms that run remote communication programs, and the software related to AI and cybersecurity have alleviated the severity of these repercussions, and contributed to reducing the negative results of the pandemic.



His Excellency, Ambassador Saati noted the qualitative leaps that this industry has performed in the Russian Federation, benefiting from the rich Russian human resources expertise in this field. He pointed to the industry's tendency to search for new markets in the Middle East and expressed his desire to build fruitful close relations between that industry and its Bahraini counterpart.
