Bahrain News: EWA contract employee ‘betrayed the country’ – Gulf Digital News
PROSECUTORS have accused a contract employee of ‘betraying the country’ by allegedly manipulating the readings of 7,000 energy meters, a court heard.The court was told the accused 40-year-old Egyptian expatriate worked as a consultant and project manager at a contracting company that was outsourced by the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) to carry out billing work for the ministry, although his job designation has been disputed by the defence .
