An internal directive from Shell Oman believed to have sent to its staff stated 250 baisas per kilowatt for charging electric cars at its stations.

“As for the mentioned price for EV charging, it is neither true nor implemented, but it was part of a practical pilot phase on testing the operating and technical systems,” Shell Oman said in a statement.

“We would like to inform you that EV charging services have been available for free in Shell Oman service stations ever since they have been installed back in 2022,” Shell Oman said.
