VIDEO: Mohammed approves National Policy for Quality of Digital Life

Sheikh Mohammed arrives for the launch of 'Positive Digital Citizenship Values and Behaviours Code.'

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, approved the "National Policy for Quality of Digital Life," to create a safe digital community in the UAE and promote a positive identity through appropriate digital interactions.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and several ministers attended the launch of the "Positive Digital Citizenship Values and Behaviours Code," which aims to establish a framework for positive digital citizenship values and behaviour in the UAE and consists of ten articles.

The ten articles cover the UAE's legacy, digital reputation, respect for others, positive investment, good manners, digital privacy, publishing credibility, responsibility and systems, digital ethics and balanced usage.

Sheikh Mohammed highlighted the importance of improving the quality of the digital life of the community, by drafting appropriate policies, initiatives and projects that can keep pace with the latest local and international developments in the digital world, through motivating the digital community and consolidating the UAE's leadership, enabling it to advance in the "World Digital Competitiveness Ranking," where it leads
