Egypt’s Bani Hassan receives delegation from Ministry of Tourism &Antiquities, Netherlands Institute

 

 

 

 

CAIRO - 10 January 2021:Egypt's Bani Hassan archeological site in Minya received a delegation from Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and the Netherlands Institute in Cairo.

 

The  delegation visited the area, in preparation for developing tourism services as a part of the joint cooperation project between the Ministry and the Institute.

 

 The delegation included Ms. Eman Zidan, Assistant Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for the Development of Museums and Archaeological Sites, Dr. Muhammad Mahmoud Abu Zaid, Deputy Governor of Minya, Ms. Dalia Daoud, Head of Culture and Development at the Dutch Embassy, ​​Dr. Mai Al-Ibrashi from the Megawra office, and Mr. Gamal Abu Bakr, Director General of Egypt's Antiquities.

 

 Mrs. Eman Zaidan explained that the development project includes placing explanatory and indicative panels about the site, its monuments, the visit path, the hygiene safety regulations and other useful information for  visitors.
