Kuwait International Airport terminal 2 to get new scanners


KUWAIT CITY: The Kuwait International Airport (KIA) will be equipped with new scanners with latest technology that will allow passengers to carry in their hand baggage electronic devices and liquids, reports Al-Anba daily quoting Arab news. The Smiths Detection said it won the contract to supply checkpoint security screening equipment for Kuwait’s new International Airport Terminal 2, which is currently under construction.
