Handover ceremony at Tourism Ministry

NNA - A handover ceremony took place on Monday at the Ministry of Tourism between Caretaker Minister,  Professor Ramzi Moucharafieh, and newly appointed Minister Walid Nassar, in the presence of Ministry Acting Director General Amin Thebian and Tourism Police Head Colonel Mark Sakr, and Moucharafieh’s Advisor Mazen Bou Dergahm.

In his delivered word, outgoing Minister Moucharafieh deemed the touristic sector the main pillar of the Lebanese economy, and he recapped the various internal and external measures he has taken during his term of office in facing the challenges that afflicted the tourism sector.

Mousharafieh also believed that the new government will definitely accord priority to the tourism sector and work to support it being a catalyst for economic growth.
