New York To London In Four Hours? United Bets On Supersonic Air Travel

That will be changing—dramatically. United Airlines has announced that it will buy 15 supersonic jets from Boom Supersonic, an aerospace startup. The aircraft will go into service in 2029 and be able to travel over 1, 100 miles per hour.
