MUSCAT: The tourism sector contributes to economic diversification and has many opportunities for growth and sustainability. This is greatly because Oman enjoys many unique natural, historic, cultural, and artistic components and resources.Oman has achieved tangible development in the tourism sector, emerging as a distinguished tourist destination, and occupying an advanced position.Choosing Sur as the capital of Arab tourism is an important incentive to complete tourism development projects. This helps improve the quality of tourism services and is in line with aspirations, and enhances the position of Sur in the Arab world and globally.The programme will include many activities, events, and media and marketing campaigns in Sur in particular and the South Al Sharqiyah Governorate in general.
