Abu Dhabi lists Saudi Arabia on safe travel list

DUBAI: Abu Dhabi Tourism on Tuesday has included Saudi Arabia on its travel 'green list.'

The Kingdom's inclusion means visitors will no longer quarantine themselves upon arrival in the UAE's capital, although they would still need to follow COVID-19 testing regulations.

Other countries on the list are Australia, Brunei, China, Greece, Greenland, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Mauritius, New Zealand, Singapore, Taiwan, Tajikistan, Thailand, Uzbekistan and Vietnam.

As part of Abu Dhabi's updated coronavirus regulations, international travelers are now allowed to visit the emirate starting December 24.

Authorities said international travelers will be required to present a negative COVID-19 test result received within 96 hours of their departure, and will have to take another test upon arrival in Abu Dhabi, the emirate's Media Office announced.
