DXB starts operating at full capacity

Dubai International's (DXB) has started operating at full capacity with the opening of all terminals, concourses, lounges, restaurants, and retail outlets. This step came after the final phase of Concourse A at DXB Terminal 3 had resumed its operation, according to a press release on Monday. Terminal 3 is forecast to serve over 1.6 million passengers in the second half (H2) of December amid the seasonal travel period. In November, the number of passengers at DXB reached 1 million per week, with origin-destination passengers recording 94% of pre-pandemic levels. Following the closure in March 2020, DXB has begun to resume its operations with the reopening of Terminals 2 and 3 and Concourses B and C for normal inbound passenger operations from 22 June 2020.
