UAE bans citizens from traveling to countries facing entry ban

Saudi Gazette report JEDDAH "” The United Arab Emirates has banned citizens from traveling to countries that are on its travel ban list. In a joint statement issued on Thursday, the UAE's National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) and the foreign ministry announced the ban exempting diplomatic missions, emergency treatment cases, official, economic and scientific delegations. As part of the move, UAE citizens will not be allowed to travel to India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Namibia, Zambia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, Sierra Leone, Liberia, South Africa and Nigeria. In the statement, NCEMA and the foreign ministry called on the UAE citizens to abide by all precautionary and preventive measures related to the virus any other procedures applied in the country to which they are traveling other the countries facing a travel ban. They also stressed the need for citizens to isolate themselves if they contract the infection during their travel and adherence to all instructions and requirements of the country in which they are located and inform the country's embassy. According to the statement, citizens, who are infected with the virus, will be allowed to return to the UAE after obtaining the necessary
