Egypt will resume direct flights to Oman, Jordan, Rwanda, Uganda and South Africa starting October, the country's  flag carrier EgyptAir said on Sunday amid tough safety and hygiene measures due to teh coronavirus pandemic.

EgyptAir has resumed flights to 47 destinations after a four-month hiatus, including the five newly announced destinations, the company said.

EgyptAir will operate two weekly flights to both Muscat and Amman. Kigali will receive a single flight per week
