Covid-19 test: India announces new travel advice

The UAE News report: India has issued a new set of guidelines for airline passengers entering the country without PCR Covid-19 test report. In the latest announcement, the Indian government says all passengers coming to India and looking for an exemption from institutional quarantine without having a negative PCR Covid-19 test report in their hands may be asked for the test on arrival.

In case the airport does not have the testing facility then there will be mandatory seven days institutional quarantine and also seven days home quarantine, Indian Ministry of Health and Family Welfare explained.

Arriving passengers need to submit a negative PCR test result online (www.newdelhiairport.in) in case they are looking for institutional quarantine
