Kuwait’s ship arrives at Mumbai port with continuous supply of oxygen – ARAB TIMES – KUWAIT NEWS – Arab Times Kuwait English Daily

KUWAIT CITY, May 15: Kuwait’s Ambassador to India Jassem Al-Najem announced today that a Kuwaiti aid ship carry liquid oxygen arrived to Mumbai port in its effort to save thousands of lives in India to fill the shortages in hospitals for those infected with coronavirus in India. The ship which arrived today carried 75 metric tons of liquid oxygen in addition to thousand oxygen cylinders.
In a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Ambassador Al-Najem said that more ships will continue to arrive through the the sea bridge established by the State of Kuwait to support India’s war against the spread of the mutated Corona virus.

He further stated that 1,400 metric tons of liquid oxygenwill reach in next two weeks. Kuwait is one of the countries in the world that supplies India with oxygen, to reduce stress on suffering of the friendly Indian people. Last week, three Indian military ships arrived at the port (Mangalore) in the state of Karnataka, south India, from the port of Shuwaikh with 140 metric tons of liquid medical oxygen and 1600 oxygen cylinders in addition to a Kuwaiti military plane
