Oman Transport and Roads Management Company to be dissolved | Times of Oman

Muscat: The Asyad Group will dissolve the Oman Transport and Roads Management Company. A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA) said: "The Board of Directors of the Asyad Group approved the reorganisation of its sectors in line with the focus of the group's efforts on the main logistical activities of port services, free zones, maritime transport, dry dock and e-commerce services." The reorganisation will result in the dissolution of the Oman Transport and Roads Management Company and the transfer of all transport and road tasks previously assigned to the group represented by the aforementioned company to the supervision of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology in line with the Ministry's competencies. This is in light of the new restructuring of the state's administrative apparatus.
