Muscat: Motorists across certain parts of Muscat will have to rely on electronic modes of payment to avail parking tickets for booking slots for their cars. Parking meters across a number of locations in the Governorate of Muscat will be removed starting from November 1, 2020, stated the Muscat Municipality in a tweet to the public. As per the government body, the parking meters will be removed from areas in and around the Commercial district, Commercial Square, Ruwi Market, Al Forsan Street, Muttrah Suq and Sea Street, and Al Wadi Al Kabir.
