Cabinet approves creation of logistics agency under transport ministry

Saudi Gazette report NEOM “” The Council of Ministers on Tuesday approved the creation of a logistics agency within the organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport among a number of other key decisions during its regular session. At the outset of the virtual meeting chaired by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, the Cabinet reviewed a number of issues and developments at the regional and international arenas. The Cabinet also took note of Saudi Arabia's participation in a number of international meetings, conferences and forums during the past days to enhance the prospects for international cooperation in various fields. The Cabinet considered the launching of the 'Riyadh Initiative', approved by the UN General Assembly at its first special session, which aimed at establishing a Global Network of Operations to exchange information among anti-corruption agencies around the world as a continuation of the pioneering role the Kingdom has played and the efforts it has exerted during assuming its G20 presidency to enhance international cooperation for combating corruption.
