Saudi: AlUla heritage sites re-open to public on Oct 31

In a move to realize its, tourism ambitions, AlUla, the open-air museum of unprecedented historical and cultural significance in northwest Saudi Arabia, will be re-opening its heritage sites on Oct. 31.The Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU) has confirmed that the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Hegra, the ancient kingdom of Dadan, and the whispering canyons of Jabal Ikmah will be the first sites to re-open to the public, having been largely closed off to visitors for over two years.In addition, RCU has announced that residents of AlUla will have the opportunity to access the sites exclusively on Oct. 30-31 for free on a first-come-first-served basis for the entire opening weekend.Visitors are encouraged to sign up to experiencealula.com to be first to hear when bookings become available for the heritage sites and when other
