Dubai forms supreme committee to oversee District 2020 – MEED

The three-year committee will help supervise all projects, initiatives, programmes and activities within District 2020

In his capacity as Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE, has issued a decree to form a Supreme Committee to supervise District 2020, the expo's legacy site.

Decree no. 15 of 2022 formed a three-year committee to be chaired by Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed al-Maktoum, previously chairman of the Expo 2020 Dubai Higher Committee, and president of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, and chairman and chief executive of Emirates Airline Group.
