The United Arab Emirates on Thursday sent an aid plane carrying 8 metric tons of medical supplies and testing kits to Burkina Faso. This aid will assist approximately 8,000 medical professionals as they work to contain the virus, bolstering the country's efforts to curb the spread of Covid-19. "Based on the UAE's leading and humanitarian role in providing assistance in times of crisis, and harnessing all possibilities to help African countries on the basis of mutual respect, an aid aircraft was sent to Burkina Faso.
