Dubai’s Emirates becomes first international airline to resume services to Seychelles

Dubai carrier Emirates has become the first international airline to resume services to Seychelles.

The airline has confirmed on its website that it has begun flying to the popular tourist destination five times a week from August 1.

It has deployed a Boeing 777 on the route with an average cost for a one-way flight from Dubai to Seychelles priced at Dhs2,800.

The airline's passenger network has increased to 68 destinations, connecting customers to cities in Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific and Africa.

Emirates recently became the world's first airline to offer Covid-19 related cover to passengers, allowing customers to claim medical expenses of up to EUR150,000 and quarantine costs of EUR100 per day for 14 days, regardless of class of travel or destination on flights undertaken until October 30.
