Etihad Airways to launch daily flights to Tel Aviv

UAE - Mubasher: Etihad Airways will launch daily scheduled year-round flights to Tel Aviv starting from 28 March 2021, according to a press release on Monday.

This decision came following the normalisation of diplomatic relations between the UAE and Israel and the signing of the Abraham Accords.

By launching daily flights to Israel, Etihad seeks to promote direct inbound tourism to Abu Dhabi and enable Emiratis to visit Israel's historical sites, beaches, and restaurants.

The Chief Operating Officer of Etihad Aviation Group, Mohammad Al Bulooki, said: "The commencement of scheduled flights is a historic moment and as an airline, cements Etihad's commitment to growing opportunities for trade and tourism not just between the two countries but also within the region
