Dubai has been named one of the most affordable cities for parking in the world.
In the newly released 2020 Parking Price Index, which looks at the average cost of parking in major cities around the world, Dubai came out as the eighth cheapest, ranking 68.6 per cent below the median cost of parking around the globe.
The study, published by UK car maintenance service Fixter, looked at the average cost to park at airports, shopping centres, stadiums, city halls and on-street.
It found that in Dubai, the average cost of an hour's parking at the city's airports was $1.36 (Dh5), $2.72 (Dh10) for shopping centres, $1.09 (Dh4) for on-street and $0.54 (Dh2) for city halls, while stadium parking in the emirate was free.
