Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly held an inspection tour at the New Administrative Capital on Saturday to follow up on various construction projects within the framework of the government's plan to relocate all ministry headquarters and their employees to the new capital by 2021.

According to a statement by the cabinet, Madbouly toured the under-construction headquarters of the cabinet in addition to the premises of the ministries of finance and foreign affairs.

The new governmental district in the administrative capital, which is being built on 1.5 million square meters, houses 10 ministerial complexes, grouping 34 ministries in addition to the headquarters of the cabinet and House of Representatives, the cabinet statement said.
