CAIRO - 20 September 2020: Transforming Giza into the capital of world tourism is a goal that the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities seeks to reach through a plan to transform the area surrounding the Pyramids of Giza and the Grand Egyptian Museum into a tourist service area of the highest international standards.
According to Atef Moftah, the supervisor of the Grand Egyptian Museum and the surrounding area, the area's development plan includes establishing a project to create a cable car as well as a tourist and cultural service area, according to the following plan:
