Watch: World’s largest fountain to launch in Dubai this month

The Palm Fountain located on the Palm Jumeirah in Dubai will attempt to break a Guinness World Records (GWR) title on Thursday, October 22, as it aims to become the world's largest fountain.

Situated at the Pointe, it is spread over 14,000 square feet of sea water.

The fountain's shooter pumps water up to 105 metres into the air, and the entire attraction includes over 3,000 LED lights.

The Palm Fountain will have 20 bespoke shows with five different shows running daily between sunset to midnight (7pm-12am), while swaying to an array of popular songs including Khaleeji, pop, classic and international music.

Each show will last for three minutes, and will be performed every 30 minutes.
