How much Indians, Pakistanis invest in Dubai’s real estate
Indian and Pakistani nationals were among the top 10 investors in Dubai's real estate sector last year, according to official figures released on Saturday.
Dubai Land Department data showed that investors from India ranked first at 5,246 followed by the UAE nationals at 5,172. Next comes with a big difference were investors from Saudi Arabia, China and the UK with 2,198, 2,096 and 2,088, respectively. While investors from Pakistan came 6th with 1,913 followed by Egypt (955), Jordan (855), US (682) and Canada (678).
In terms of investment value, Indians were also top investors, pumping more than Dh10.89 billion last year in to the emirate's property sector, followed by Dh8.1 billion by Emiratis, Dh4.92 billion from Saudi Arabia, Dh3.97 billion
