Egypt’s government denies resorting to research papers for higher education students
The ministry confirms that no new decisions or suggestions were made regarding the exams system of universities and academic institutions

The Egyptian government said on Tuesday that there is no change in the exam system for higher education students, confirming that the system will still rely on written tests to be performed in person rather than the submission of research papers as was circulated on social media and some websites lately.
The cabinet's media center denied rumors about merging the first and second semesters in a statement, as the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research denied that any change will occur to the current system.
The ministry confirmed that no new decisions or suggestions were made regarding the exams system of universities and academic institutions.
Exams for the first semester for all stages of university education nationwide will be held after 20 February, which marks the end of the mid-year vacation.
