97-year-old Emirati receives COVID-19 vaccine – GulfToday

Emirati Nakhira Obaid Saeed Al Dhaheri, 97, received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at Neama Clinic, which is run by the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA).

Nakhira son said, "My father is 97 years old. He decided to take the vaccination like the rest of the family, and we encouraged him to do so, in support of the directives of our wise leadership and the efforts of the Abu Dhabi government.“

He added, "We visited Neama Health Centre, where the doctor made the necessary evaluation for the father before vaccination to ensure his health status, and then my father received the first dose of vaccination."

He explained, "From my experience with my father, I want to encourage all members of society, especially senior citizens and residents, to take the COVID-19 vaccination to protect them, and I advise them to take information from the official authorities and not pay attention to rumours."
