Egypt directs LE 6.9B public investments to Aswan in 20/21

CAIRO – 25 January 2021: Egypt's public investments directed to Aswan Governorate in the 20/2021 plan is LE 6.9 billion, marking an increase of 73 percent, representing 2.7 percent of distributed public investments, according to Minister of Planning Hala el-Saeed.

 

“The growth rate in investments financed by the public treasury and directed to Aswan governorate reaches 31 percent,” Saeed added.

 

This came in the report of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development on the citizen's investment plan in Aswan Governorate.

 

The report pointed out the features of the initiative of a decent life in the governorate, as the volume of the initiative's investments in the governorate amounts to LE 345 million, and the number of beneficiary villages is 13 villages, and the number of beneficiaries is 60.8 thousand citizens.
