Saudi Arabia’s health drive continues in Pakistan

KARACHI: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) on Monday performed 500 eye surgeries in Karachi, as part of a campaign to fight blindness in different cities of Pakistan. The project will cover Karachi, Shikarpur, Kharan, Khuzdar and Kandiaro. It aims to benefit 30,000 individuals with different eye diseases. KSrelief teams will perform 2,400 eye surgeries and provide people with spectacles. The project will target people belonging to the low-income groups, who cannot afford to bear the expenses of their treatment. It will continue until June 22.
