MoPH reports 77 new Covid-19 cases, 126 recoveries

The Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) reported Thursday 77 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus (Covid-19) during the past 24 hours, and recorded 126 recoveries from the virus, bringing the total number of cases recovered in Qatar to 363,187.

In a statement, the MoPH said that 70 of the new confirmed cases are among community and the rest among travelers.

It said that 6,753,103 Covid-19 vaccine doses have been administered since the start of the vaccination programme, with 4,276 doses administered in the past 24 hours.

The ministry further added that 89.2% of the total population are now fully vaccinated with two doses.

The MoPH called for caution and continued adherence to restrictions and precautionary and preventative measures, and to contact 16000 helpline immediately if anyone suffering from Covid-19 symptom.
