BTEA to host Eighth Bahrain Food Festival in Marassi Al Bahrain

The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) is gearing up to host the Eighth edition of the Bahrain Food Festival 2024 in Marassi Al Bahrain, Diyar Muharraq, from February 8-24, 2024, with the participation of over 100 restaurants, cafes, and local and international hospitality vendors.

On the occasion, BTEA’s CEO, Sara Ahmed Buhejji, said: “BTEA is pleased to announce the details of the Eighth edition of the Bahrain Food Festival, which has become a prominent tourism destination in the Kingdom, offering an exceptional blend of flavours and gastronomy.“

She added that BTEA will continue its unwavering commitment to elevate the gastronomy sector, being one of the supportive sectors to achieve the objectives of the tourism strategy (2022-2026).

Throughout the 17 days, the festival will feature different entertainment events, including live shows. In addition to showcasing Bahraini artists and local bands performing on the main stage at Marassi Beach, these include the Ismael Dawas Band, The Ravens, AQ Jazz Experience, DJ Swif, Oracle Project, Relocators, Five Star, and others.

The festival will see the return of the traditional village, offering a diverse range of delectable dishes that celebrate Bahraini flavours. It will also introduce a kids zone with activities for youngsters to enjoy.

The Food Festival
