Agriculture & environment exhibition sees strong GCC participation – The Peninsula

Doha: The 9th Qatar International Agricultural Exhibition (AgriteQ) and the 3rd Qatar International Environmental Exhibition (EnviroteQ) are witnessing increased participation from the GCC countries.

The exhibition is being held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) until March 14.

The participants include exhibitors and those taking part in associated events, said the Ministry of Municipality in a statement. The participants lauded the exhibition, describing it as a meeting place for farmers, producers, stakeholders, production companies and consumers, providing opportunities to further enhance their deep relations.

The GCC participants said the exhibition is also serving as a platform to enhance trade among the GCC countries.

Abdullah Al Shuraim, a representative of a Saudi company, said his participation in the exhibition comes from the company’s keenness to participate in the most important international exhibitions, especially the Qatar International Agricultural and Environmental Exhibition.

He said the exhibition has great importance at the world level as it provides a lot of opportunities to participants such as exchanging expertise, sharing experiences and explore the latest technologies in the environment and agriculture sectors.
