More than 30 fishing cages seized in Oman

Muscat: Fish monitoring teams seized and confiscated more than 30 fishing cages being used to fish outside of season. The Ministry of Agricultural Wealth, Fisheries and Water Resources said: "The fisheries control team in Dhofar Governorate was able yesterday to seize and confiscate (31) fishing cages prepared for fishing outside the season without a license. Legal procedures against the violators are being completed."
