Oman, India seek to expand work in fisheries sector

MUSCAT: Oman and India are poised to enhance the scope for work in the fisheries sector, enriching the fisheries' wealth, sustaining the existing trade, and improving bilateral relations.Accordingly, the Oman Chapter of the Indo-Gulf Middle East Chamber of Commerce (INMECC) seeks to gather opinion and expertise on the various challenges and opportunities in the Oman Fisheries Sector on Sunday.The one-day event organised in association with the Foreign Investment Committee (FIC) under the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) will see experts from Oman and India, according to Shurooq al Farsi, Coordinator of OCCI FIC, and C K Khanna, Secretary of INMECC Oman chapter.
