This initiative embodies Oman’s commitment to enhancing nutritional sustainability. At the heart of this initiative lies the objective to harness agricultural and biological by-products, transforming them into specialized, value-added products while recycling date by-products like kernels, pulp, and palm fronds. The factory aims to yield approximately 100,000 tons of alternative grass feed annually, enriched with dates from agricultural residues, and 300,000 tons of marine life feed for cultured shrimp and fish within cages annually.
